Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to exciting Myrtle Beach, known for its sunny beaches, fine dining, top shows and popular attractions. We arrive in Myrtle Beach late afternoon and check in to our oceanfront hotel for the next four nights. Dinner will be included tonight at a popular local restaurant. (D)

Day 2: This morning we visit the Hollywood Wax Museum, the only wax museum in the country devoted entirely to celebrity figures. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the wide, sandy beaches of Myrtle Beach. After your free time, we enjoy an included dinner and the show at the Alabama Theatre. The show will bring you the best of all types of music and a fun evening of country, gospel, rock and even some comedy. (B, D)

Day 3: This morning we experience southern history at Hopsewee Plantation. Built in the mid-1700s, Hopsewee was one of the South’s major rice plantations. We will explore the plantation from top to bottom including two original slave cabins. We enjoy a delicious luncheon at the sophisticated Oak Cottage Tea Room before we visit Brookgreen Garden, a 9,000-acre property featuring beautiful sculptured gardens and a wildlife preserve. Tonight, we enjoy a special treat at the Luau and Fire Show, a Hawaiian-themed dinner and show. Enjoy the savory meal, featuring a live band. (B, L, D)

Day 4: We cruise the Waccamaw River this morning. Along the way we will view rice plantations, slave cabins, moss-laden oak trees, alligators, eagles and osprey. Our narrator will be a local historian, educating us on the history, mystery and legends of the rice plantation. This afternoon will be free to enjoy the beach or go shopping at the popular Broadway on the Beach. Following dinner, we attend our final show at the Carolyn Opry, featuring two hours of high-energy music, comedy and dance. (B, D)

Day 5: Our Myrtle Beach Spring Fling comes to an end as we travel home. We return early evening. (B)
