Day 1: Travel to the scenic and friendly state of Maine that will showcase the many scenic and interesting attractions the state has to offer. We travel to Maine’s largest city, Portland, where a fabulous dinner welcomes us. (D)

Day 2: This morning we depart from Portland Harbor and cruise the unique waterways to Bailey Island. Learn the history of Casco Bay as you cruise past lighthouses, forts, and lobstermen tending their traps. We dine at the famous Cooke’s Lobster House surrounded by ocean views as well as a visit to the Land’s End Gift Shop, a Maine landmark at the very edge of the island. We return to the mainland and continue on our Maine vacation for the next two nights in the Bangor area. Tonight you will be our guests for a delicious Maine dinner. (L, D)

Day 3: See all the natural wonders of Acadia National Park, a Maine treasure. You will have free time in Bar Harbor filled with shops, eateries and galleries. Tonight following dinner, we attend the Great Lumberjack Show, featuring log rolling, axe throwing, hand sawing, timber climbing and more. (D)

Day 4: We depart this morning enroute to Kennebunkport, where you will enjoy a tour of that area, lunch and shopping at the waterfront. We begin our return journey home, spending the night in the Peabody, MA area. Tonight you will be our guests for a special lobster bake dinner at the popular Gloucester House Restaurant, a great way to end a day of scenic travels. (D)

Day 5: Our Maine vacation is drawing to an end, but first we stop in Boston and enjoy a refreshing cruise of the Boston Harbor area. Have lunch on your own at Quincy Market before completing the remainder of our trip. We return home midevening.
