Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Join us on a tour that celebrates the arrival of spring in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. During this day of travel we arrive late afternoon in Pigeon Forge, TN, where we spend the next three nights. Tonight we relax over a delicious dinner at a popular local restaurant. (D)

Day 2: We begin our day touring the majestic Smoky Mountain National Park. We’ll have time to explore the shops and eateries at the resort town of Gatlinburg before attending an afternoon performance of the Smoky Mountain Opry. Tonight we attend the Smith Family Dinner Theatre, where we are entertained with comedy, bluegrass and gospel favorites. (D)

Day 3: We visit the Titanic Exhibit, letting you experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and grand staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 original artifacts from the ship and its passengers. Then we are off to Dollywood, with its shops, rides, shows and Southern Gospel Hall of Fame. Finally, we experience the Dixie Stampede for dinner and some galloping entertainment. Watch top-notch riders thrill us with daring feats, trick riding and competitions. (D)

Day 4: We travel to Asheville, NC to see the beautiful and expansive Biltmore Estate to enjoy the 30th annual Biltmore Festival of Flowers. The gardens cover almost 75 acres surrounding the 250-room Biltmore House. We will tour both the magnificent estate and gardens, which include forsythia, spirea, red bud dogwoods and over 99,000 tulips. A delicious luncheon will be included at the Deer Park Restaurant, on the grounds of the Biltmore. We spend the night in Asheville. (L)

Day 5: We return home with fond memories of our southern springtime getaway, arriving early evening.
