Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Relive American history as we travel to the historic cities of Boston and Plymouth. We journey to Massachusetts and visit the John F Kennedy Memorial, overlooking the very waters he loved so well. We spend the next three nights in West Yarmouth. A delicious dinner is included at a popular restaurant tonight. (D)

Day 2: Discover “America’s Hometown”, Plymouth. We view Plymouth Rock and tour Plymouth’s beautiful waterfront filled with shops and many restaurants. We later experience Plimoth Plantation. Walk among the costumed Pilgrims and Native Americans as they perform their daily tasks of cooking, harvesting and tending farm animals. Tonight, enjoy a “Taste of Two Cultures” dining experience at Plimoth Plantation featuring favorites from both the English and the Native Americans. A food historian will enlighten the event with interesting facts on cooking, ingredients, traditions and table manners. (B, D)

Day 3: We travel to historic Boston and spend the day reliving American history. See the sites that made Boston famous: the USS Constitution, Boston Common, Olde State House, Bunker Hill and more. We later embark on a North End walking tour and see such historic sites as the Paul Revere House and Old North Church. Tonight a highlight of the tour will be the Tavern Night Dinner, as we dine and enjoy a night of colonial merrymaking. The dinner will be at the Boston Tea Party Tavern, where we will enjoy rustic fare, play authentic games, learn boisterous songs and cheerful dances in a spirited colonial tavern atmosphere. (B, D)

Day 4: We travel home along scenic Route 6A enroute to Cape Cod’s oldest village, Sandwich. Here we tour the Sandwich Glass Museum and enjoy a glass-blowing demonstration. We return home early evening. (B)
