Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Enjoy the sights, sounds and flowers at New York’s lakes on a new tour that features two luncheon cruises on scenic lakes along with popular attractions. Before checking into our motel for the next three nights we visit the Champlain Wine Company. We partake of white and red wine tastings coupled with fruit, nuts and local cheese. Dinner is included tonight at a popular local restaurant. (D)

Day 2: We begin our day aboard the Grand Isle Ferry as we travel from Plattsburgh, New York to Grand Isle, Vermont. We visit Lake Champlain Chocolates and see talented chocolatiers create scrumptious treats before our eyes. We next enjoy a luncheon cruise of Vermont’s Great Lake, Lake Champlain. View the majestic Adirondack Mountains of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont as you sip champagne and savor a hot and cold luncheon buffet. We continue to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory for a fun tour to see how the famous bears are created. Our final stop today will be in Burlington, Vermont, where we explore the award- winning Church Street Market Place, located in the heart of downtown. Enjoy a four-block pedestrian mall with over 130 unique shops and restaurants. You will have time to shop and have dinner on your own. We return to Plattsburg by ferry to end our day. (B, L)

Day 3: Today we tour the “Queen of American Lakes”, Lake George. Amazing views abound as we travel to three mountain vistas including the 100-mile view on Prospect Mountain. Lake George played a large part in early American history, especially in the French and Indian War. Our tour guide will point out places of interest before we sail on the crystal-clear waters of Lake George aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrament. A scrumptious hot and cold lunch buffet is paired with live music. We also stop at the Adirondack Winery and enjoy a tasting of outstanding award-winning wines. Dinner will be on your own at Lake George’s famous Beach Street shopping area. (B, L)

Day 4: We depart for home this morning, stopping in Saratoga Springs to give you some free time to explore this charming town. We return home early evening. (B)
